US Army Dugway Proving Ground
The US Army Dugway Proving Ground in Utah is a major range and testing facility covering 798,214 acres and is the primary chemical and biological defense testing center. Testers at Dugway determine the reliability and survivability of all types of military equipment in a chemical or biological environment.
Woodbury Technologies was selected by Dugway Proving Ground to provide telephone switch and Community Antenna Television (CATV or Cable TV) administration and support services for both digital IP and analog devices operating on both fiber optic and copper infrastructure. The services provided include:
- Maintenance of CATV baseband and broadband video transmission equipment including optical transmission devices, RF modulators/de-modulators, distribution amplifiers, encoders/de-coders, optical to RF multiplexers.
- Maintenance of analog and IP digital CCTV surveillance camera systems to include cameras, mounts, housing, PTZ, switches and monitors.
- Maintenance of analog and digital broadband broadcast systems to include modulators, demodulators, optical transmitters/receivers, headend equipment, amplifiers and cable distribution.
- Maintenance of the Dugway Proving Ground mass notification system.
- Administration and maintenance of telephone remote switching centers.
- Maintenance of battery and generator backup and DC power systems at telephone switch and remote communication sites.
- Maintenance of carrier equipment, multiplexers, T1-T3 drivers, DSX patch panels, media converters or other ancillary equipment in the central offices, remote communication sites and buildings.
- Management and maintenance of the high capacity transmission services T1/D1/E1, T2, T3/DS3, SONET and asynchronous transfer mode (ATM).
- Provision Class B telephone service for Fish Springs National Wildlife Refuge.
- Programming and management of Meridian voicemail.
