USAF Academy Hospital
Woodbury Technologies was selected by the 10th Medical Group at the US Air Force Academy Hospital in Colorado Springs, Colorado to ensure compliance with all federal and state laws as well as the patient privacy provisions of Health Insurance Portability & Accountability Act (HIPAA).
Our medical professionals specifically provide the following services to the USAF Academy Hospital:
- Protect and maintain the availability, integrity, confidentiality and accountability of patient medical information resources and information processed.
- Monitor all agreements with other organizations to ensure that all privacy concerns, requirements and responsibilities are addressed.
- Track access to protected health information (PHI) and ensure only qualified individuals with a need to know receive pertinent PHI.
- Ensure completion of initial and recurring HIPAA training for all 10 MDG personnel.
USAF Brooks City Base
Woodbury Technologies was selected by the The Air Force Medical Support Agency (AFMSA) to provide a Population Health Nurse to support the AFMSA mission by providing a full range of Assistance and Advisory Services (A&AS) in the population studies, prevention, managed care, medical readiness issues, health promotion, clinical preventative services, and other health related issues.
Our medical professionals specifically provide the following services to AFMSA:
- Disseminate information about specific populations, by developing, validating and linking various medical, safety, environmental, occupational and personal databases.
- Investigative and research expertise to develop prototypes of tools, programs, procedures, services or databases to support the Air Force Surgeon General's goal to build a managed healthcare system that integrates quality, cost and access.
US Army Multi-Service Market Office
Woodbury Technologies was selected by the US Army Colorado Springs Multi-Service Market Office (MSMO) to perform business operations data analysis services.
The Colorado Springs Multi-Service Market Office is the focal point for integration of healthcare service in the Colorado Springs Region. Serving three military treatment facilities and 143,000 beneficiaries, the MSMO strives to optimize healthcare through comprehensive business planning, aggressive referral management, sharing of clinical services, and military patient appointing services.
Our medical professionals specifically provide the following services to Colorado Springs MSMO:
- Conduct market research on various healthcare product lines, assessing market trends and market leaders.
- Data mine financial, clinical, and utilization data records from various medical information systems.
- Analyze medical data from multiple sources and convert data into information that reports clinical, operational and financial positions, trends, and projections.
- Coordinate the annual tri-service business planning cycle.
US Army Munson Medical Center
Woodbury Technologies was contracted by the Munson Army Health Center in Fort Leavenworth, Kansas to provide Contact Representative Services in the Patient Appointing Center.
Woodbury Technologies staff primarily process telephone calls to schedule/reschedule appointments to include primary care and specialty clinics at Munson Army Health Center and the Richards-Gebaur TRICARE Clinic or the TriWest Network according to established policies and procedures using the CHCS/Microlog systems.
Our staff works under HIPAA directives while providing the following services to callers:
- Explains eligibility requirements, treatment authorized, and availability of medical facilities to patients prior to scheduling appointments.
- Ensures patient understands date, time and place of appointment.
- Questions patient as to type of ailment to determine proper clinic for treatment according to the various rules and regulations of the clinics.
- Instructs patient regarding necessary medical preparation prior to reporting for clinic appointments and for laboratory tests.
- Evaluates clinic schedules, availability of doctors, nature of treatments and/or emergency, the logical sequence of required tests and x-rays.
- Responds to questions concerning the appointment process from MTF staff, TRICARE staff, and MHS beneficiaries.
US Army Fort Sam Houston
Woodbury Technologies was selected by the U.S. Army Institute of Surgical Research (USAISR) to provide server administration and infrastructure support services. USAISR is part of the U.S. Army Medical Research and Materiel Command and is collocated with Brooks Army Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas.
The USAISR is dedicated to both laboratory and clinical trauma research. Its mission is to provide requirements-driven combat casualty care medical solutions and products for injured soldiers from self-aid through definitive care across the full spectrum of military operations; provide state-of-the-art trauma, burn, and critical care to Department of Defense beneficiaries around the world and civilians in our trauma region; and provide Burn Special Medical Augmentation Response Teams.
Woodbury Technologies works under direction of the USAISR CIO to support the Joint Theatre Trauma Registry and Image Repository Systems that facilitate the gathering and sharing of relevant knowledge, expertise and image information with clinical and research groups within the Institute of Surgical Research (ISR), Brooke Army Medical Center (BAMC), the Trauma/Critical & Burn Service, the Army PACS Program, Wilford Hall Air Force Medical Center (WHMC), Combat Support Hospitals (CSHs) and appropriate private sector development and research facilities. Specific services provided include:
- Server setup, configuration, maintenance and administrator support for MEDWEB Telerad and Siemens PACS Archive and other image servers.
- Ensuring electronic movement of radiology exam data to other Military Treatment Facility (MTF) PACS systems.
- Management of backup and recovery of all image information.
- Integration of image databases as related to the combat casualty care mission in both clinical and research environments.
